Sep 24, 2008 - I see the test TRACK....where's the test MUD....or the test ROCKS....or the test HILL CLIMBS...or the test SAND.... Where's the test TRAIL!!!! I worry they castrated this Jeep....but I'll get one in a heartbeat if it can still handle trails with the SAME or better ability!

Oct 1, 2008 - Chrysler said this will be in a 2wd or 4wd option. Sadly this will only be in a 5 Dr. Model. It's worth to buy it!!

Oct 9, 2008 - Lets see under the hood... How many miles on a charge? What does it cost for batteries to be replaced? So it looks good... what tech does it use... enough of the 'pretty jeep' crap! What is the guts of the beast?
HollyUniClogger Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - A differential in back? Why? Just put a motor on each wheel, and run wires from the top, and mount the wheels from the top. Lots of free ground clearance. Of course mechanical engineers could never understand such a beast. Tractors with hydraulic motors work that way.

Dec 15, 2008 - In hub motors are great! It's the torque that they generate that has to bedistributed properly.
tigerbody69 Says:
Dec 15, 2008 - Electric motors have more Torque to the tires,so it should not be a problem.
tigerbody69 Says:
Dec 15, 2008 - Hmm, you must be really fast. How many have you put together in a weekend?
n2confusion Says:
Dec 15, 2008 - if all the parts and a 3 dayweekend and your will to do 12-14hr days you can pull the motor and install the ev parts. i did that with the mazda ev i have built. now i did not count on the other projects just the ev parts alone no brake jobs and such.

Jan 3, 2009 - What is the sadly part?
tigerbody69 Says:
Jan 3, 2009 - Dont worry - Be Happy! It's been a long road - getting from there to here.
gayasianmale Says:
Jan 4, 2009 - Tigerbody, the sad part is there is no 2 door model that will be in production. I have no kids, so that's why I'd rather go with the 2 door model. Also, it looks like this may be another tease by Chrysler because of their focusing more with the Chrysler T&C as a product model. As the matter of fact, it looks like Chrysler may pull the plug with its program becaus of the economy problems their facing, according to the auto show representative in San Diego. I hope Chrysler can pull themselves.
