Aug 1, 2008 - i must tell you that for a movie that is over 50 years old . the original movie was damn good and had a very strong moral message to it and i think that this decade needs that same message again. watch the original movie and you will know what i mean. enjoy ! :)

Aug 12, 2008 - The original 1951 film is my very favorite film of all time. No sci-fi film will ever be as fantastic. From Bernard Herrmann's superb eerie score and incidental music, to Michael Rennie's perfection as Klaatu, to the symbolic storyline, which is based loosely on the story of Jesus, I can only hope this new version presents some elements of the original, which was not just a film, it was an unforgettable experience.

Sep 16, 2008 - Um...okay, yes, that was what I was implying. It doesn't make any less of a stupid concept. 'Earth can live'-what does that even mean? As Penn once said 'The Earth is fine, it's US who need to be worried'. Even following a nuclear war, we'd all be dead, but the Earth would still be around. Right now the Earth is THRIVING compared to a few years ago when we didn't have the treatment plants, organizations, and other developments to clean up pollution and save forests. It's stupid, and wrong, IMO
